A quick post before I head out for a run in the glorious sunshine. After a few days of horrible rain and wind (plus freezing-cold sleet yesterday), Wellington has turned on a stunner - little wind and clear sunny skies.
I made this clutch yesterday for a friend's birthday. The outer is made from Lara Cameron fabric and lined with a co-ordinating spot craft cotton. I also interfaced it with flannel to give it a bit more structure. Pattern is from Bend the Rules Sewing by Amy Karol. This is another almost instant gratification project. The most time-consuming part (apart from picking the fabrics out of your stash) is cutting out the 6 pieces of fabric.

Love your choice of fabrics. We're having a stunner of a day down here too, we even went to the park this morning.
Lucky friend I love this little bag, the fabrics used are beautiful. Bend the rules is such a great book, I drool over all the projects, but that is as far as I get as I don't have a sewing machine...yet!!! X
Gorgeous!!
I just gave you a blog award. Not sure if you are into those so no pressure :)
Ohh so cute! Thanks for the mention :)
that looks really beautiful, you have chosen such nice fabrics.
I have the book but have not made this one yet, I am going to put it on the list now:)
lovely clutch! (that lara cameron fabric is to die for.) you are really good at combining fabrics.
Gorgeous clutch - that fabric is perfect for it.
