Kiwiana Stamps

I've been meaning to post about these new A-Z of New Zealand stamps since they were released about 6 weeks ago. Each stamp has a picture of something "kiwiana" that starts with that letter. Hopefully the image is big enough for you to read. If not, I think you should be able to click on it to see a larger version. My current favourites are F for fantail, E for Edmonds and G for Goodnight Kiwi. Very cool. I bought the whole sheet and I'm planning to pop it in a frame to hang in the hallway.

Miss 9 (newly a stamp collector) just got given that set for her birthday so we have the matching poster gracing our hallway;-) I love Goodnight Kiwi and Yarn!

I haven't seen these- they are great. I like your idea of using them as art...I hope you don't mind if I do the same?

I love these stamps. I have been rationing them out on mail that will be appreciated. The plain self adhesive stamps can be reserved for bills and other boring mail.

They are so very cool. I have been meaning to get myself a sheet too. What a lovely thing to write a post about!

Thanks for sharing these - as soon as I saw them I knew my best friend would love them. On Wednesday I gave them to my her in a frame as part of her birthday present and she was very happy! If you want a plain el cheapo frame I used a 12 x 12 scrapbook frame from The warehouse and cut a piece of 12 x 12 scrapbook to size for matting. Cheers, Kielz.

Those are gorgeous. I may ask a NZ friend to get me a set.
